A rough trip down the Karakorum Highway

After watching the PIA flight from Islamabad to Skardu turn around
then return to Islamabad without landing, we jumped in a van for the journey on the long winding road of the infamous Karakorum Highway (KKH).

The 24hr non-stop cliff-edge motor derby delivered us pulverised, dizzy and diarrhoea ridden in Islamabad earlier today. The highway's reputation is well-deserved. We are now resting up for the evening before a debriefing with the Pakistan Ministry of Tourism tomorrow.
